Timothy Degner began writing the Matter of Time series when he was 20 years old. Beside having a background in designing computer systems, he has studied theories of time travel, artificial intelligence, virtual reality, futurology, and physics extensively in his drive to write a story both surprisingly real and imaginatively stunning.

Tim lives in rural southwestern Minnesota with his black lab, Raven, and far too many cats. He enjoys playing piano and guitar, and spending time with family and friends.
